Pattern Welded Suontaka
This is a pattern welded version of the Suontaka sword. The guard, pommel, chape, locket, and scabbard bridge are sculptural quality silicon bronze. The pommel is keyed and hot peened to the tang and the guard and grip ring are banzaipeened to the tang. The scabbard and grip are leather over a wood core. The blade is hardened and tempered 15n20/1084 steel.
